CEO Nick Mao
Born during the Khmer Rouge genocide in Cambodia in 1975, Nick Mao spent his earliest years struggling to stay alive while fleeing from the Red Army across the Cambodian jungles through a 200 mile journey on foot from the Capitol City to the borders of Thailand where the American Red Cross provided an opportunity for him and his family to come to America.
As an artist, at ten years old, he was given the top awards the city of Los Angeles had to give, featuring his art on billboards not only locally but also nationally, as it was and still is, both thought provoking and humane.
Turning his creativity to business, Nick Mao passed his real estate exams at age seventeen but had to wait until his eighteenth birthday to finally receive his real estate license so he could embark on what would turn out to be a notable rookie year, selling over one hundred homes by the time he turned nineteen.
His career soared on from there with fortune by his side and many years of hard work finding his life filled with more successes than failures including creating innovative banking and gaming interests in south east Asia, internet web traffic and ad driven companies globally and clothing lines and restaurant chains domestically, most notably his ground level involvement in the development and financing of the restaurant chain The Yard House which was purchased in 2012 by Darden Restaurants Inc. for 585 million dollars.
Now, with Chairman Films as his newest focus, Nick Mao looks to create a new model for the direct delivery of content while creating projects that are in line with his philanthropic values that promote Education, Entertainment, and Entrepreneurship. Which can be seen in his E3 empowerment program.
